The new scout cabin in Odense consists of two separate buildings tied together by a closed courtyard. One of the buildings is circa 200 m2 and contains a tipi (common assembly room), café, modern kitchen as well as two toilets with access from outside. The other building is about 100 m2 and contains the patrol rooms for the older scouts as well as the leader and administration rooms. The courtyard (The Base Camp) in between the buildings is partially roofed with laminated wood beams that span the space. The construction is designed to allow covering when needed. Here it is possible to establish an outdoor workshop, and most of the year the large assemblies can be held here.

The cabin is built of in-situ cast concrete sandwich walls up to 4 meters high with board formwork inside and panel formwork outside. The smallest building with a sloping roof has a green roof covered with moss and other plants (not yet finished). The other roof has black roofing felt. Rainwater is led off the roof visibly down the facades via recesses in the concrete that are lined with zinc.
