The Harvard Art Museums – consisting of the Fogg Museum, the Busch-Reisinger Museum, and the Arthur M. Sackler Museum – opened their new Renzo Piano-designed home on 16 November 2014. Take a look at the 4-year construction in a 4-minute time-lapse.
The film, created by Harvard Art Museums, starts with the selective demolition required for the expansion that unites the three museum's under one roof, and ends with the finishing touches being put on the custom timber cladding of the facade overlooking Le Corbusier's Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts.
