A new video from the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art's Louisiana Channel profiles architectural designer Jenny Sabin, whose eponymous design studio and design lab at Cornell University investigate the intersections of architecture, science, and the fine arts.
Louisiana Channel's Marc-Christoph Wagner visited Sabin at Cornell last spring, speaking with her inside the hushed space of the Mui Ho Fine Arts Library and eavesdropping on interactions with students in the Sabin Design Lab at Cornell AAP. In words and images, viewers see how Sabin learns from nature, working with scientists and using technology to create installations, both temporary and permanent, that are organic, unexpected, and downright beautiful.
