Some aerial drone footage from the first day of September reveals the construction progress on Apple's huge ring-shaped headquarters designed by Norman Foster and located in Cupertino, California.
It's been nearly seven months since we last presented some aerial footage of the Apple Campus 2 construction. Progress can be seen in the saucer-shaped building, but also in the auxilary buildings, such as the corporate auditorium, the event center, R&D facilities, and the additional parking garages (most of the parking is underneath the main building). The aerial footage gives a good sense of the project's form, scale (the project is so large, it has a dedicated concrete plant on site!), and how the various parts are laid out across the site.
