Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura has made its contribution to "Time Space Existence," a collateral event of the Venice Architecture Biennale, available online. The installation is a panoramic film that tackles the exhibition's three-word theme.
As we described it in our coverage of some of the Biennale's collateral events, Ricardo Bofill's Towards Biology is "a 'headliner' at Palazzo Bembo [that] tackles the exhibition's themes of time, space, and existence through the lens of La Fabrica, the old concrete factory converted by Bofill to a residence and atelier. At times overly dramatic, the film is nevertheless a beautifully executed narrative the loops endlessly, just like the surface it is projected across." While the online version of the film misses the immersive experience of the room-sized installation, it nevertheless conveys the themes important to Bofill and his Taller de Arquitectura.
