The public can vote on their favorite among the 32 short films in the running for the AIA Film Challenge 2022. Deadline is October 14, with the winners to be announced on October 25.
Since 2017 the American Institute of Architects' AIA Film Challenge has looked for stories about how architects are working with communities to design healthy and sustainable places that improve peoples’ lives. For 2022, the AIA asked entrants to produce 90-second to 3-minute short documentary films "about architects working with civic leaders to design sustainable and/or equitable communities."
From the films submitted for consideration last month, 32 films were selected for voting. The five-member jury (Stewart Hicks, Mark Levine, Jason Pugh, Elisabeth Sereda, and Asia Taylor) will decide which films win Grand Prize, Runner Up, and Third Place, while the public can vote to determine the People’s Choice Award. Watch the short films and vote for your favorite here.
