“Loom” collection: MMV (formerly Accente)
JOI-Design’s aim to produce unpretentious, timeless furniture of the highest quality and durability has also been realised with MMV. The “Loom” collection includes two classically styled armchairs and a third, innovatively fashioned lounge chair. With frames constructed from handmade, ecologically produced loom formed from Scandinavian craft paper, and comfortable cushions with soft upholstery, users can feel good about the provenance of the chairs as well as feeling good in them.
The refined contours of companion armchairs “Harry” and “Sally” have a contemporary yet classic sensibility, making them ideal not just for dining rooms but also for a wide range of business and residential settings: side chairs in a living room, lounge or bar; around a boardroom table; in an entry hall; at a desk; or on an outdoor terrace. A reinterpretation of the classic Accente chair called “Dinner”, Sally differs from its predecessor due to its soft interior padding which offers optimal seating comfort and invites guests to linger.
The inventively styled lounge chair “Nest” is the highlight of the collection. High-grade filigree loom woven into a curved shell calls to mind an oversized bird’s nest which cocoons users and creates a sense of nurturing and relaxation. Made in two sizes, Nest offers an instant sanctuary hideaway for one person or a couple to relax and dream.
