7 Boxes…: Workstations and Offices
Seven scattered individual Office Glass Cubes not only define the different program spaces in between, but also allow the maximized natural light gain and urban landscape view to each corner of the office. Within such an arrangement, an inviting, open and transparent work atmosphere is created, representing the modern work style of the 21st century.
… + One: Peripheral Activities
All the function programs are housed in the 8th Box made of more solid materials, such as concrete, bamboo, and steel. This function Box is located in the middle of the space to ensure the most convenient access for all the people working in different areas. The sophisticated industrial quality of such materials identifies the nature of the space as the Holcim Representative Office in Beijing, as well as establishing the esthetic balance of light with the transparent partitions in the other areas of the office.
