The property is located on a gently sloping hillside west of heterogeneous structure in a mature residential area. In the space program, living-dining area with kitchen, workshop and office area and an individual with a common area and separate bedroom retreat for the two occupants were to be provided. The three different areas and the maximum utilization of the property to determine the structure and shape of the building.
Two to the property line shifted against each other in the south of the volume include living and dining room, studio and office in the north, each supplemented by a garage.
With its two Bauwich garages takes the new full plot width of the street and shares so the towel-shaped plot in a semi-public, more urban space through which developed into the depths of the building is, and in a private space for its residents. The street-side studio and office sub-sector from these foreclosed by a massive appearance. The living area opens to the south, however, with large windows to the garden. The third volume floats above, separated by a gap of glass, with its range of individual sleeping rooms.
The combination of the three areas is via serving as reception rooms, vertical development, sanitary facilities or the kitchen. The two ground-floor volume of solid construction built building are clad with asbestos panels, the floating floor with a mineral insulating plaster. Sliding shutters made of larch wood where they serve the shade. Inside, few materials dominate. Parquet and greywacke stone floors create a warm atmosphere, white veputzte walls a neutral background.
