The wooden structure emphasizes the rural character without drifting into the vernacular. The cantilevered upper floor, the top of the "mountain", creates a covered area that also functions as a sheltered car, bicycle parking and entrance area. Thus, one can reach the interior of the house directly from the car with dry feet.
The location of the living room with open kitchen on the "summit" allows north-western wide views over the plain with long paddocks, fields and shrubs.
On the southeast side, on the slope side, the room opens to the maximum to the greened outdoor space and allows it to merge with the interior. The terrace flows smoothly into a lawn for sunbathing, merges into the slope for tobogganing and rolling down. The roof over the "summit" is also designed as a green roof.
The wooden structure was erected from prefabricated wooden panel elements and a prefabricated, multi-layered glued solid wood ceiling with a soffit of silver fir within 3 days. The simple interior is designed for maximum functionality.
The floors inside as well as on the terraces are made of polished concrete slabs heated and waxed in the interior.
