A residential area in a northern provincial town. The house is built as a relatively closed box with small openings due to the cold northern winters, but it is nestled in the surrounding small houses and is designed to fulfil the client's desire for a quiet and tranquil life.
To achieve this, we found four small boxes in the house.
Two are private rooms, one is the bathroom and other water areas, and the other is the client's hobby room. The client's hobbies are music, playing, listening and singing. So they wanted a music room.
The space enclosed by the four boxes is treated like a town square, and the space between the boxes is seen as a town street, where the function of the house is carried out. The central square was the living and dining area.
