Grammer office HQ, Ebermannsdorf
2002

The new head quarter of the Grammer Bürostühle GmbH lies like a rock in the Bavarian forest. The company Grammer manufactures high-quality office chairs and cinema seats in „on time “production.

The building ensemble is divided into a production hall and an administration building (Head office), both connected by a bridge. Flanked by black walls made of solid rocks. The rough architecture refers here to the surrounding countryside.

Thank the growing of domestic woods the buildings grows together with the environment.

The construction of the 6,700 m2 large hall consists of a galvanized structural steelwork of trusses and clamped steel shorings.
The building envelope is covered with aluminum-sand-yielded panels. For the frontsides the building receives structural glass with thermic protection coating in combination with anodized pillar construction.
