The idea behind adding a storey to the kindergarten was to create meeting and recreation rooms. The premises were kept consciously uncluttered to offer the staff a welcome retreat.
The fully enclosed roof terrace is designed to keep noise out and maintain privacy. It is separated from the recreational room by floor-to-ceiling glazed sliding doors, bringing natural light into the interior, while sharing the same wooden floor.
A large circular opening in the roof terrace wall is the only interface with the outside world, offering a view of crown of an Oak tree in the garden.
