Designed by Franken Architekten the three-leaf structure with wooden facade offers identity-attraction in the dynamically developing Europa quarter and increase the amenity value of the area even further. Situated in the central Europa garden the multifunctional pavilion is an information and contact point with gastronomy, meeting space and 14-meter high observation tower. The pavilion floats in reminiscence of its root word as a lightweight building in emerging Europe garden. The distinctive space-form is visible by far through the positioning at the intersection from the promenade and park. The pavilion geometry develops from a continuous folded skin, which spans the three wings of the building. The two horizontal wings house the information and gastronomy part. The pavilion stages the theme of a modern gazebo and forms a communicative, urban heart of the Europa quarter district.
