The site of the project is located in a quiet residential quartier close to one of the main roads of Korbach. The steep slope between the main and the back road enables a lower garage completely submerged into the hillside.
Our intention was to create living spaces that offer close interaction with the urban environment by sculpturing the volume towards the street. The total built area is distributed in one block of two levels, of two apartments each. The volume is positioned, aligning to the street so that all apartments have a terrace with south-west orientation. Various intersections divide the building masses into smaller, visually distinguishable volumes, responding to the urban layout of the neighborhood
