Machino Dermatology

Machino Skin Clinic is located in Sakado City, Saitama Prefecture, and is visited by many patients every day. This is a project to build a new annex specialized in self-financing treatment. The new site is located on the opposite side of a small road from the main building site, and is tangential to a main road on the other side. The long form of the lot was used to create a building with high visibility due to its strong presence by wrapping the long form in material exterior wall materials that attract the eye even from cars driving on the main road. The main building is surrounded by tall trees that are eye-catching in the urban area. The new building, on the other hand, has only space for planting trees on the approach from the main building side and in a small courtyard due to the parking lot plan.

To accommodate the director's preference for a forest-like environment, we created a long planting base that gives the building a floating feeling, and greened it three-dimensionally to strengthen the connection with the main building and give a sense of the concept of the clinic as a whole.
