The main entrance to our new hotel building in Leipzig is located at the intersection of Gottschedstrasse and Bosestrasse in the inner western suburb and is being built on an undeveloped plot. The district is characterized by cultural institutions such as the theater, art galleries, museums, public monuments, churches as well as a lively restaurant scene.
The façade design of our new hotel building is inspired by the aesthetics of the early 20th century, which still characterizes some of the surrounding architecture today. The plaster façade, whose color scheme is based on the surrounding architecture, is structured by classical decorative elements. Horizontal bronze friezes adorn the parapet above the first floor, followed by vertical, narrower plaster embossing up to the staggered storeys. In the area of the flanks, the window arrangement is uniform with narrow double-sash windows; in the area of the corner of Gottschedstrasse and Bosestrasse, the window area is enlarged over the five full storeys to emphasize the corner formation and anchor it visually in the urban space.
Around 145 rooms will be accommodated on the full storeys. The reception, hotel bar, lounge and lobby are located on the first floor and remain open to the public.
