Robert Sedlak founded his office in Nuremberg in 2002 after studying architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA) London and working for Zaha Hadid Architects. He worked as a managing architect at Kappler Sedlak Architekten and SRAP Architekten.
Together with his team, he is significantly involved in the development, planning and realisation of various architectural and urban development projects. His particular focus is on innovative architectural concepts and construction tasks, especially in the field of residential and administrative buildings.
The office's work is characterised by an intensive examination of the specific context of the respective location, taking into account the functional requirements of the spatial programme and the interests of all parties involved. An interdisciplinary approach to problems often results in unconventional and innovative solutions that are always holistic and well thought-out.
Robert Sedlak has been a lecturer in building construction and design at Nuremberg Institute of Technology since 2015.
