Show Biography
Titus Bernhard has been working on spectacular architectural projects both nationally and internationally since 1995. Reduction to the essentials and a minimalist architectural language characterize all of the office's work, combined with the highest standards of craftsmanship and aesthetic qualities.
His architecture developed from classical modernism into an independent, phenomenological architectural language. House 9×9 attracted a great deal of attention far beyond the world of architecture, as did House M and House 11×11 more recently.
Awarded the Erich Schelling Medal 2006, the BDA Preis Bayern 2006 best architects awards 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012 exhibitions at AEDES in Berlin, 2004 and 2013, Architekturgalerie München and the galerie d'architecture in Paris as well as twice participating in the Venice Biennale, Titus Bernhard was one of the young avant-garde architects in Germany at the beginning of the 21st century.
From 2005-2007 he was a visiting professor for design and construction at the HTWG Konstanz.
