Location
Duisburg, Germany
Year
2005
Projektteam
Cossmann_de Bruyn

The Swiss architecture group tec Architecture planned for the high-tech company Infineon an exceptionally futuristic office building for approximately 250 employeesin the South of Duisburg with a gross total area of 10,000 sq m. The building encloses an Asian appearing internal courtyard with a small lake planted with trees around. We continued the rather emotional than functional approach in the interior, which the architectural guideline allowed, by using a colour concept with a combination of warm, friendly orange and chartreuse tones, haptically soft fabrics and harmonising materials.

The arched forms of space were turned into conference areas, a multifunctional room as well as seminar rooms and lounges. They were designed in a functional andunpretentious, however, sophisticated and inspiring way with an individual arrangement according to the self-image of the innovative developing company.
