A short film from Coop Himmelb(l)au celebrates the 50th anniversary of the firm started by Wolf D. Prix, Helmut Swiczinsky, and Michael Holzer in Vienna, Austria, in May 1968.
Moving from inflatables to flaming wings and from shards to blobs, the quick-cut retrospective traces the evolution of Coop Himmelb(l)au's architecture, focusing more on drawings, renderings and models created by the firm over polished photos of completed buildings.
