Itinerant Office continues its "Past, Present, Future: about being an architect yesterday, today and beyond" project, which featured interviews with 11 Italian and Dutch architects last year, with 13 more conversations, this time with architects from Belgium, France, Portugal, and Spain. Episode II begins with French architect Odile Decq.

Odile Decq founded Studio Odile Decq in Paris soon after graduating from college, without working for another architect. In the "Past" clip she recounts these early years, in the 1970s and 80s, when sexism was rampant in the profession. For "Present," she speaks about her workflow, how she detests repetition and embraces diversity of tasks from day to day. And thinking to the "Future," Decq hopes new generations will invent concepts and forms that architects today cannot envision. Watch the interviews below or on Itinerant Office's Vimeo page.
