Developer Knight Dragon has unveiled the 1.4 million square foot Peninsula Place project, the first building in London to be designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, as part of the transformation of Greenwich Peninsula.
The scheme includes an 80-foot-tall winter garden, a new tube and bus station, a theatre, a cinema and performance venue, bars, shops, and a "wellbeing hub," all below three towers with offices, apartments and hotels. A new land bridge will link the project to the Thames.

Peninsula Place is one component in London's largest regeneration project. The £8.4 billion transformation of Greenwich Peninsula is aimed at providing 15,720 new homes in seven new neighborhoods, London’s first major film studio, a new design district, schools, offices, health services and public spaces. Peninsula Place is envisioned, per a statement from Knight Dragon, as "the gateway to Greenwich Peninsula," and a signal of "the intent and ambition for this whole new district."
