60 Balconies Iconic is designed as a building for tourist apartments, located in the center of Madrid, just a few minutes from the Canalejas Gallery. The original building was designed by Antonio Palacios, the "Architect of Madrid", author of many of the capital's most representative buildings.
Dating back to 1913, the building was originally designed for mixed commercial and residential use and stands out for its impressive façade. After being modified over the years, only the façade of the original building remains. The 60 Balconies Iconic project recovers the original exterior architecture with a new volume adapted to current needs.
Inaugurated in 2022, 60 Balconies Iconic has 28 apartments, all exterior, with 1 or 2 bedrooms and full kitchen.
The apartments have different configurations depending on different requirements and have a distinguished interior design with designer furniture. Large floor-to-ceiling windows flood the rooms with natural light, with a predominance of simple and noble materials, natural textures, white and sandy tones with the occasional splash of color. Few pieces of furniture of simple and soft shapes have been carefully selected. Low, indirect and adjustable lighting creates intimate spaces. Curvilinear, sober and elegant sofas and armchairs become feature elements of the apartments.
The restaurant on the street level, the solarium pool on the roof and the parking complete the program of the building.
