The new headquarters for Onchena involves the complete renovation of an existing office within an administrative building. It is a complete architectural and interior design project with custom-made furniture. The intervention redistributes the entire interior partitioning, modifies the organization of the work and meeting areas, and updates the MEP network in accordance with current regulations.
Conceptually, the project is divided into a public and a private part, trying to maximize the passage of natural light from the outside of the building. A partition of vertical wooden slats creates privacy in the entrance hall with respect to the work areas and those reserved for employees and leads to a more private area where management offices and meeting rooms of various sizes are located.
The enclosed rooms alternate translucent glass partitions with plasterboard partitions clad in wood. Oak is the distinctive material that unifies the interior design project. It is found in the wall and door cladding, in vertical spatial division elements and in the custom-designed furniture.
In the main meeting room, a large round table with a marked handcrafted character designed by our studio is the protagonist. The central base, built in oak wood, frees the distribution of the chairs, allowing to vary their number according to needs.
The new wiring is hidden in the continuous false ceiling of plasterboard panels, and in the technical floor covered with two-layer flooring.
