This newly constructed residential building in Argüelles, Madrid contains 17 high-level homes. The dwellings range in 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom configurations over its seven floors, each one enjoying large exterior windows opening to Ferraz Street and in the case of the penthouses, spacious terraces.
The horizontal strip composition of the main facade and the volumetric play of the two upper levels, which resolve the stitching with the adjacent buildings, facilitate the integration of the building into the surrounding environment
All units are oriented towards the exterior, featuring a granite façade from La Serena. The horizontal rhythm of the impost and crowning lines is integrated with a meticulous vertical modulation.
The common areas have been carefully designed, a large porch provides access to the property and an interior courtyard garden is overlooked by the bedrooms. Opening to the courtyard there is also a shared gym that incorporates a wet area where a sauna is located. On the top floor a covered solarium with a 13-meter infinity pool can be enjoyed by its residents.
The building also has four underground levels where parking, storage and utility spaces are located.
The centralized air conditioning system is based on aerothermal production, direct expansion and ventilation. A personalized domotic manages the system, which also includes a solar protection system in the openings to the street.
