YCBA in a New Light
The Yale Center for British Art (YCBA) in New Haven, Connecticut, designed by Louis I. Kahn and completed in 1977, three years after the architect's death, reopens on March 29, 2025, following a multi-year restoration. The most important work in this latest phase of the building's ongoing conservation is the replacement of 224 domed skylights over the museum's beautiful fourth-floor galleries. World-Architects got a peek ahead of the reopening.
